The AT&T tech changed my 2Wire router to a Motorola NVG589. Since then I've had problems on my cat-5 connected Windows 7 machine. In Firefox, response time is a bit slower, and it's not uncommon to receive "Unable to Connect" or "Server Not Found" messages. There's a "Try Again" option and it almost always works okay on the first retry, although sometimes I must retry two or three times. IPv6 is enabled and the MTU is 1500. I've not changed anything in the NVG589 but I saw a discussion that seemed to say these parameters might cause problems such as mine. I've not called AT&T support - I'm trying to avoid that if I can. Any ideas?
