I am running XP Pro SP3 and have AT&T for my ISP.
They recently upgraded my Internet to Max Turbo which is supposed to have a download speed of 24MB.
Speedtest.net says I am still running download speed of about 14MB.
An AT&T technician came over and hooked up his laptop directly to their gateway and speedtest says 24MB so I guess it is working that way but I can't get my wireless to 24MB.
He says something about the TCP receive window and windows scaling but could not remember how to configure it.
I did do some research and made some adjustments in the registry to the TCP parameters but still can't get it to 24MB.
I added Tcp1323Opts to 3, GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize and TcpWindowSize to 400000 (from some article I read).
It may have gotten a little better 16-17, but I am not 100% sure what I am doing.
Does anyone know how to set this up so I can get to 24MB over a wireless connection?
