I have one of these terrible wireless TV receivers, because the technician did not want to bother with wiring the back of our house for Ethernet, or bother using the existing coaxial cabling for the set top box, either. The damn thing disconnects from the WAP constantly, and when it does this, it wants to be re-WPS associated with the access point.
Is there some way I can manually program the set top box to use the WiFi network? Even better, is there some way I can program it to use my existing 5GHz WiFi network, so I don't have to have this stupid redundant 5GHz network in my house?
