Hi,
up to a week ago my linux systems were happy sending email to my bellsouth.net address via the dns mx records. I had no issue connecting to the servers that were listed. than about a week i started to get timeout and now i can't connect to them at all.
if you do a dig mx bellsouth.net you'll see the four servers listed.
This has been working for a good 2 years that i know of. Any one have any ideal why this stopped all the sudden?
my only option now seems to figure out how to get postfix to become an email client and smtp auth like email clients do which is not what postfix is best suited for.
