Hi. Ive been having this service for very long time. and about a month ago, it started not to respond to the ping request from outside network. now when i ping, ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Request timeout for icmp_seq 0 Request timeout for icmp_seq 1 Request timeout for icmp_seq 2 92 bytes from 000-000-000-0.lightspeed.sntcca.sbcglobal.net (000.000.000.0): Destination Host Unreachable Vr HL TOS Len ID Flg off TTL Pro cks Src Dst 4 5 00 5400 67e4 0 0000 37 01 8283 172.31.99.194 000.000.000.0 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I called the tech support they cannot find the problem. they only say everything seems to be fine on their end. Here's my network structure for your better understanding: 1. NVG510 Modem/Router from AT&T ( this device is 192.168.254.1) I have set the IPpassthrough function to forward all incoming traffic to be routed to Ubuntu control server(192.168.254.3) 2. Ubuntu Control Server doing DHCP and all necessary network related works. 3. Everything I need to do including internal network communication, internet access,,, all good! 4. Only cannot ping from outside network.(This firmware version of device does not have option to choose enabling echo request) 5. I recently purchased Domain from GoDaddy.com and changed its zone file to forward to my router's IP that probably, of course, Doesn't work either. Does anyone have similar problem like i do, or any idea what Im missing? ------------------------------------------------------------------- here are some photo's of my router settings: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B_40OM85vfLAU0xELXMwV0M1V0k
