NVG589 and Apple Time Capsule

I'm picking up a Time Capsule tomorrow and have read a lot of threads about setting it up behind the NVG589. Ultimately I want the TC to be the main router and the NVG589 to simply pass all traffic to the TC. But, I have a couple of concerns/questions: We have Uverse TV, with the main DVR connected to the NVG589 via Coax, and a wireless AP providing connectivity to two wireless STBs. In going through the steps in setting up the NVG589 for pass-through mode, will this affect our TV service? I'm assuming these devices still need to be connected to the NVG589 and not the Apple TC, correct? I plan on disabling the NVG589 Wifi and using the TC for wireless connectivity. Since there is an AP connected to a LAN port on the NVG589, I'm assuming this provides wireless connectivity for the STBs, thus disabling WiFi on the NVG589 shouldn't affect the TV serice, correct? Also, if I disable DHCP on the NVG589, would this not affect the AP and wireless STBs? Maybe I keep DHCP turned on for these devices, even though I will have the TC be a DHCP server for all of my LAN devices? I'm planning on having all LAN devices connected to the TC, but I guess I'll keep the TV devices still connected to the NVG589. Also, there is a router-behind-the-router option in the NVG589, but I don't recall anyone using this option. Is this an option to use, or is it better to dumb down the NVG589 and simply have all traffic forwarded to the TC? I don't know why all of this seems so convoluted, I guess I'll just have to try some things when I get it. Just trying to plan a seamless transition. The whole reason I want to do this is because I want to use OpenDNS for DNS servers for my LAN, but you can't use a custom DNS in the NVG589.
