Upgraded to 45Mbps

I pulled the trigger about a month ago and upgraded from 24 to 45Mbps service. This involved the swapping of my 3801HGV for a NVG589 and, of course, the addition of a 2nd pair. With ~820ft between me & the VRAD, the resulting speeds have been good: http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/4196099053 Only one issue... the new 2nd pair will stay up for a half day max and then drop sync. Reaching around the back of the NVG589 and resetting buys me another 12 hours max before the same thing happens. The techs come and find the tests look great. An ST connected the F2 directly to the drop, but the same issue reared its head again. Through all of this, that 1st pair I already had has been rock-solid, so I have never been completely w/o service... just not yet consistently getting the upgrade I am paying for. Today, they have done a port swap & moved both of my ports to a K card @ the VRAD (supposedly these cards play nicer with the NVG589 gateways?). Fingers crossed this does the trick. I must say, the techs have been great at trying to find the elusive solution of this problem. -- There are 10 types of people in the world -- those who know binary, and those who don't.
