Hey folks -
Apparently, both U-Verse and Comcast are available at my new house. I prequalified for 18M speeds on the AT&T website. Does AT&T offer anything higher than 18M? (Reason asking is because in ex-Frontier [Illinois] territory, I got 24M/2M bonded DSL). Someone mentioned somewhere (I'd have to search) that people were getting 45M in places. That would be preferable.
I'm probably not going to bundle with phone unless they offer me relief from the dozens of landline taxes, which I really don't want.. I already have one of AT&T's Wireless home phones, and it's been working pretty awesome. I'll also be using a TV antenna to get free to air stations. So, I really just need Internet and need to figure out Comcast vs. U-Verse.
