I recently upgraded to the Power Tier 45meg down Uverse internet. I have coax running to my DVR. Some things I have read in this forum talk about running Cat5 or 6 to the DVR instead of coax and that this is better. I can run an ethernet cable from my NVG589 to my DVR if it is better.
Can one use ethernet instead of coax to the DVR? Is there any benefit? If I make the change do I need to make any adjustments to the NVG589 or DVR settings?
