So my Uverse bill skyrocketed about $80 this month, seems my $161 retention offer for the U450/phone/24mbs internet package expired. I called back in and the best the retention lady claimed she could offer was their basic cable package for $90 (less a $30 credit) and then $5 off internet...
Between the ~$200 for Uverse, $50 for a landline for the alarm, and another $100 for wireless, AT&T catches a lot of money from me each month. I can't see shelling out another $80 to keep the status quo.
Have their retention offers gotten that bad or was my rep just uninformed or unflexible? Otherwise I guess I need to explore some alternatives.
