For years I have been running a web server connected to my 2Wire Gateway with no issues. I had it set as a DMZ which passed through all requests to my server. All WAS fine.
Recently had to replace the old 2Wire with a new 2Wire and some updated TV boxes. Set up the DMZ and all worked well, for a while.
It seems that periodically, I have no positive time frame, either the gateway itself OR ATT changes it so that ports 80 and 443 do NOT pass through but get redirected to the gateway.
End result is that anyone trying to access the websites get redirected to Arris.com login page. I can change them back and they work for a while but then they get "restored" again.
I have not called Uverse Tech support - not sure they would understand what a web server is let alone port redirection.
Anyone run into this or have any idea what's going on?
