So a flyer showed up in my Austin office. All symmetrical 25 for $90, 50 for $180, 100 for $250, 200 for $500 and 300 for $750 per month.
So my question is would it be reasonable to expect the kind of QoS necessary from this connection to run VoIP over? I know there is no guaranteed QoS with this connection, at least not that I'm aware of. I'm just wondering if the up time and latency are acceptable for VoIP.
This is a branch office with 4 people and the main phone system is in our Houston office. This would connect back to a dedicated fiber connection in our Houston office and the 2 offices are connected by a VPN managed by me.
The alternative is to put in a 10mpbs MPLS for over $500 a month.
Thanks
