Is AT&T ever going to replace the NVG510 with another gateway/modem? I'm thinking maybe I should find a 5031nv and try to use it instead. I would like to be able to have ipv4 and ipv6 access to the internet through my router.
Service works but I am really not a fan of having to config it a certain way in order to get it to send an external IP to my Netgear wireless router. Got that working with ipv4 but is there a way to get it to forward the external ipv6 address also? my wireless router does support ipv6 but I can't seem to get the NVG510 to forward the ipv6 address. Has anyone tried to do this?
I have a second NVG510 that I tried, has same firmware, but for some odd reason it won't do ipv6 at all (some of the options are missing) and also the second one for some reason won't upload at faster than .38mbps even though it syncs at the same 1020 as the other one. What's the deal with this one?
