Just had a tech that left that said the Wireless DVR is now in their garages. He also said that there will be a 75mbps, 100mbps, 150mbps and beyond on VDSL2. 17a Profiles and vectoring will be used and everything will have to be on NVG589. Know some of this is old news but he told me July is when they will start to do this. Picture quality is also going up to 14mbps per stream with the new 17a bandwidth. Also more HD streams will be there too.
And new Set top box software as well.
Not too sure how the Wireless everything is going to work. Hopefully it is over 802.11AC.
Edit: Forgot, he also said their could be enough for 300mbps over VDSL2 with N-cards, 17a profile, Pair bonding and vectoring. The plans are after that to upgrade to fiber. VDSL2 is pretty much done after that. They are doing 300mbps to beat cable speeds in many areas, mainly to get customers that want that kind of speed away from cable. But, you need to be less than 1,000ft from VRAD to be able to get the profile for it.
