i switched from charter to uverse (1 hd tv, and 18mbit internet) yesterday due to instabilities with charters internet on my street. i was actually a little sad to switch because when charters internet works, it works very well.. very low latency, i always get my 30/4 speeds... it would just cut out every day for an hour or 2 which is unacceptable.
can anyone confirm that it's 100% normal to have my uverse modem interleaved? i had regular dsl in the past, and Interleaved was always considered to be for horrible noisy phone lines and you wanted to be on fastpath.
so far uverse is performing how i had hoped. i dont fully get my 18mbit, but it's close. the tv was the biggest surprise.. they're lightyears ahead of charters old crappy receivers.
