Mainly because of slow G wireless speeds.
I've been a Uverse customer for years now. My 2Wire was giving me wireless problems as of late (dropping wireless frequently) so I called ATT support up and requested a replacement. Explained my problem and also requested that I be given one of those newer Motorola modems. Everything was fine till I got transferred to India for Tech support and then it crap from there on out. Its not that they aren't polite, but all they do is parrot your responses back to you. After finally convincing them to exchange my 2Wire for a Moto, I waited 3 days only to open the package and find the exact same 2Wire gateway I have now. Called them up and they gave me this BS excuse saying that Motorola gateways are only for people far away from the C.O. because they bring the signal in better and that it would not work at my house. LOL, "click".
Is there a way to talk to someone in the US about things like this? This new gateway at least resolved my wireless issues, but I'm still stuck with Wireless G.
