As I'm writing this, we have been disconnected three times and I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with U-verse. We are experiencing frequent disconnects/loss of wifi signal and erratic speeds. We either have to reboot the gateway or it reboots itself. This happens anywhere from once to four or five times a day. Usually, when the ethernet and wifi lights are flashing very rapidly, we have very slow speeds and have to reboot. Download speedtests range anywhere from less than 1 mb to above 16 mb. This started roughly a month and a half ago and seems to be resolved for a few days after a tech comes out.
All of the line checks have shown that they have no problems and are capable of much higher speed if it were offered. We are on our third NVG510 gateway...so far. I have added some public dns servers, but that only seemed to help for a week or two.
I don't understand the logs, but hopefully someone can take a look at them and tell me what might be going on.
