I have had the uverse internet for a year (18mbs, 34.99). The price jumped, so I called to see if I could get a better deal, and cancel if they were not going to offer me anything. I ended up getting the same service for 39.99 (1 year contract). Then two weeks later (surprise!) I get a reward notice for $50 for signing up!
I have no complaints about the service, its much more reliable than comcast.
