AT&T scrapping the cap?

So I get a call yesterday from a U-verse CSR trying to get me to switch from cable, yada yada yada. I listened to the spiel as I've done many times before, and like those other times, the CSR was completely ignorant of knowing anything about the bandwidth cap. After she told there was no cap, I informed her about it and told her to check with her supervisor. She does and when she came back on the line she said her supervisor confirmed the cap existed. She insisted I'd never need more than 250GB/mo(which I do). This was playing out like so many other U-verse sales calls. I always take them so I can voice my protest, and end the call telling the CSR they'll never get my business until the cap is removed. But yesterday, something different happened. As I was explaining my no cap removal/no business position, she was interrupted by her supe and put me on hold again. When she came back on, she said her supe had just been informed by a tech that the cap had been recently removed. She told me the tech was on hold and asked it I'd like to speak with them. I said sure, and the tech came on the line. She explained that she had been in a meeting a few days prior, and was informed that the company was changing it's policy and the cap was no more. After being returned to the CSR, I explained 3that while I was encouraged by the news, I was going to need some independent conformation before considering her offer. So take the above with a grain of salt. I just thought I'd share my experience here.
