So, AT&T is finally putting fiber into my (single family homes) neighborhood! I've been waiting for years so this is a treat. However, it looks like they're installing it into the swales on the FRONT of the houses, rather than BEHIND the houses where the existing Comcast and AT&T demarcs are.
Will AT&T installers run the fiber drop all the way around the house to enter at the demarc? Or will they put a new demarc on the front of the house, requiring me to do a complex run inside through the attic and up and down walls to get it where I need it? How willing are installers to go a little further to get the fiber install to a *specific* room in the house, even if it's not the easiest?
I'm just wondering what to expect. I was simultaneously happy to see the fiber going in and sad that it's in the worst possible location for where I want it in the house!
