it's working great via the wired connection (45 - 46 mb down & 5.5 mb up) . However, does anybody know how to stabilize the wireless portion? I'm averaging 3 - 10 mb down and 5.5 mb up with wireless. It doesn't seem to matter what I use (pc laptop, mac laptop, ipad, ipod touch, etc). The tech said he made a LOT of tweaks to the modem to get it work during the install (took a full 16 hrs to get everything working) and he warned me off from playing with the settings. He suggested playing with different values for the Channel setting, but I wasn't getting much results from trying.
I'm not sure if it's the modem hardware or a configuration setting. Currently only 1 out of 4 ethernet ports providing the 45 mb speed. The other 3 give a random range of 0.08 mb to 34 mb. I did ask for another modem but he said since at least 1 port is providing the appropriate speed he wouldn't change it.
