I recently received a letter from at&t stating I had u-verse that I have internet service in my area. I called them. They confirmed that and set-up an account for me. 3 days later I get a call saying that I can't get u-verse because they can't get fast enough speeds where I am. My questions are how can they notify me know since everyone at at&t believes I have service, and I can call right now and set it up again, but will get that phone call in the next three days. I know this because I've tried twice. My second question is I've asked about DSL. But they are reluctant to give it to me because they are phasing it out. Has anyone had this problem and been givin amnesty for the time being?
