What will it take for me to get U-verse Power (technically), and what is the correct sequence of steps for me to order it?
I am a FTTPIP customer in San Ramon, CA.
I'm provisioned off a 7340, and thus limited to 18 Mbps and 3HD/1SD. Boo :(
Now, I believe that there is a 7342 supporting FTTP-GPON in the San Ramon CO, and U-verse Power is supposed to be available in CA. What needs to happen for me to get it, and what is the correct sequence of events?
Things that I think need to happen:
RG swap to an NVG589
Reprovision my line off of the 7342
ONT swap in my garage (?)
Am I missing anyting? Are there changes to the fiber splitters on the street? I thought not, since it is all passive, but I don't really know.
Do these things need to happen *before* I can order U-verse Power, or will they happen *after* I order it? If it's after, then how do I get my address to show up as eligible? It's not right now.
