It’s funny that while for most Americans hating their cable and/or internet provider is part of life, it doesn’t HAVE to be that way. Most of the things we disclose most are unforced errors... they’re policies that don’t need to be that way. We know they watch this and other social media so let keep our complaints in their face. 1). Enable true, real, bridge mode in their residential gateways. Ideally this would let us put it in a box, but I could even live with leaving it plugged in for authentication. I’d even be willing to pay for this feature. 2). Remove (or include) the fee for the residential gateway. It makes no sense to add a fee for a the gateway as if it’s optional; if it’s required for the service, then it should be included in the price. It’s just dishonest, and it says a lot about what they think of their customers. If they won’t do it, then maybe the FCC should look at requiring providers to do so. 3). Make ALL plans unlimited. There are no significant incremental costs to a carrier for bandwidth consumption. Just make it a part of any plan. 4). Increase access to low income plans for families and seniors. No home should go unconnected, especially now. Those are my top three what are yours? What could make the go from a company you hate doing business with to one that you actually love?
