I have had ATT Fiber 1000 since July here in Wilmington NC. Minus a few outages during some local construction the connection has been great!
Last Tuesday I noticed the internet was crawling, it was late so I rebooted my modem and went to bed. Fast forward to this Tuesday and I am noticing similar issues to the week prior(I upload large video files Tuesday night). I called ATT and did some basic troubleshooting and they determined my modem was the issue and sent me a new one.
New modem (BGW210-700) came today and I am having the same issue. Here is the weird part. The speed test from inside the ATT modem shows almost 1000 Mbps in both directions. Yet with only one device connected to the new modem via ethernet I am struggling to pull 500 down by 200 up.
I have already replaced all the cables between the ONT, modem, and my desktop. I have attached a few screenshots of different tests all from the same time. Has anyone had any experienced this and what was the solution? ATT is pretty much telling me I am SOL because they can see the speeds at the modem.
