anyone know who should I contact so I can get my service working properly.
Last week, I switched my old DSL service to the Uverse (VDSL) and keep my old phone service. I was told that ATT will automatically disconnect the old DSL (while keep the phone portion working) and connect the Uverse. I was scheduled to have the tech coming out yesterday and he came over. He mentioned that the old DSL was not disconnected. So I won't be able to the get phone part to work. He left by telling me to call ATT.
I called and ATT Rep just tell me that the service will not be working until 8PM. I insisted that the tech has told me the DSL portion was not disconnected but they just said it will be done internally when the service is connected.
So I waited till 8PM and as I suspected. No service. I call back in around 8:30 and the tech is very imcompetent and just said they need to send tech to come out but won't be until Monday which is 5 days later.
Now, I am out of phone and internet service. Anyone know who and how I can get this whole thing speed up to get it resolved so I can have the service back?
I was afraid the switch would cause problem due to my previous expereince with ATT and I guess I was right.
