Last year in the area were I live, we had U Verse DSL with Max speed of 6MB and I tried it for a month and had to cancel since I was getting only 3MB to 4MB. Few months back they started offering 18MB and I signed up for 18MB connection thinking that I'll be getting pair bonded connection as they forced me to have a prof installation.
I ran a CAT6 cable from the NID to the place where I wanted to install my Modem just to avoid any noise in the inside line. Today the installer came in and he informed that I can get only IPDSLAM as they have not rolled out pair bonded connection. :(. I could have installed it by myself.
All day today I received consistent 16meg down and .9meg upload. Here is my diag from the modem, can somebody check the readings and confirm I'm good to go ahead and cancel my Crapcast internet?
