I switched my HSI to Comcast and ported out my 2 POTS numbers at the same time. It took place on the 3rd and I cancelled UVerse internet the same day. Bill runs through the 16th. Phoneline runs through the 19th. I was hoping they could tell me how much my prorated amount would be so I just had to pay the difference. Instead, they said to pay both bills in full and AT&T will send us a check a few weeks later. Does anyone have experience with this? Is it a painless process or should I be wary about giving them money that could take months of frustration to get back?
