I currently have Internet/TV (no VoIP) service at the "Max Plus" 18 Mb tier. The last time a tech was here he confirmed my distance to the VRAD: 1800 ft.
When the "Max Turbo" 24 Mb service was announced in my area, I tried to get it. I got a flyer in the mail saying it was available, but when I tried to sign up they said it was not available to me. I never could get the specific reason why.
My suspicion is it's because I have 4 STBs/4 TVs, and there wouldn't be enough headroom. But that's just my gut feeling.
So when they finally roll out the bonded 45 MB tier in my neighborhood, does it sound like I'll qualify?
