I've been monkeying around with the 595 and 599 UARTs trying to see what I can customize, but I can't seem to get anywhere.
Other Arris/Motorola modems have a root shell, but I can't get a root shell or login to the console on these devices.
They both boot up to a login: prompt, but no known logins work, including "admin" and the password printed on the device.
Does anyone know the magic console credentials for these devices? Better yet, any magic tricks to get the modem to drop you to a root shell?
