I'm pretty sure that this isn't a U-Verse or router problem but didn't see a better place to post. Very infrequently (maybe once a week) my Alienware 17 loses the ability to load websites using Edge, Internet Explorer or Firefox or reach email servers using Outlook 2016 Mail. The Internet icon in the taskbar's lower right corner lists my wireless network as connected and says "Internet Access." Right clicking that icon and disconnecting/reconnecting to my network doesn't fix it. When I restart the laptop things start working again. I have the latest drivers and have used the Alienware SupportAssist's "Optimize Network" option.
Today it happened again. This time I was playing poker on Pokerstars.net and that connection remained fine. I noticed the connection problem when an error message popped up from Outlook Mail. Checking the web browsers showed that they couldn't connect to any sites that I tried. After my poker game I rebooted the laptop and things started working as usual again. FWIW, 2 other laptops and my iPhone continue to access the Internet fine when the Alienware has this problem. Anyone have any idea why this problem happens? Any help greatly appreciated!
