This is intended to be an FYI for PFSense users (or OPNSense or FreeBSD users). In the monstrosity that is the "The AT&T Residential Gateway Bypass - True Bridge mode!" thread, a number of people have asked about bypassing the ATT RG using PFSense. Previously the answer was that all solutions were Linux only. This is no longer the case. A few of us die-hard BSD users have finally managed to bypass the ATT RG in no small part due to the efforts of users here on the DSLReports forums. (Why? Because we can!)

The solution is also portable to OPNSense, FreeBSD, or Ubuntu Linux. Any operating system that implements the Netgraph framework can probably reuse the shell scripts with limited modifications.
Hope this helps the PFSense users of the forum who wanted to bypass the gateway. Also, thanks for the all of the hardwork and efforts of those who have gone before. We couldn't have done it without you!
