Hi all,
I'll be moving from MI to CA shortly, and I'd like to take my U-Verse service with me. I currently have the 6 Mbps (Elite) service with the 3600HGV RG, and no TV or U-Verse Voice. I had to buy the RG when I first got the service, so I don't believe I'll have to give it back.
What's the best way for me to have my service moved from my apartment in MI to my apartment in CA? Should I just fill out the online form on the AT&T site to move my service, call them, or post in the direct forum here? Which way would be the most hassle-free?
Provided that the wiring is VDSL at my destination, I believe I should be able to use the same modem, right? Would it just be a matter of plugging it in in the new location, or is there some AT&T restriction that will require me to get a new modem?
Thanks!
