Looking to switch, as I'm a current Comcast internet customer who has had around 30 outages in 2017... but I am in a part of Nashville that is eligible for ATT fiber. This is a new home (constructed 2014) and my cable runs through a buried conduit from the pole to a box on the side of the house. My question is can they run the fiber through that conduit my cable is using now, or are they going to have to dig their own trench through the yard?
I have a few thousand dollars invested in landscaping and sod that had to be installed after the last such project and am not at all interested in doing it again. Right now this is the only thing keeping me from switching. Anyone know?
I tried to search the forum for a similar question but all I find is people complaining about ATT trenching through their yard as part of laying the neighborhood network. Thanks!
