Trying to get SIP VoIP working on U-VERSE

Hello Everyone, I recently upgraded to AT&T U-VERSE service and received a Motorola NVG510 gateway from the company. I'm trying to set up a SIP based VoIP system and am having a heck of a time getting it right. Basically, the problem is that I can't seem to make calls out or see anyone's presence who's on my contact list. When I try, it just sits there and does nothing. I was told this could be due to NAT issues so I took my computer out from behind NAT (got five static IP addresses) and I still have the same problem. Has anyone successfully gotten SIP to work on AT&T U-Verse? If so, what do I need to do in order to make it work!? Thanks, Anthony
