Upgraded from Comcast Business 50/10 plan to AT&T fiber.
I had the Comcast service for over five years and always got 10 Mbps more than my rated upload speeds and really can't complain about the service as I only subscribed to internet. Times change and so does technology and it was time for an upgrade!
My installation went smoothly. Eric, the AT&T tech called me about 50 minutes before the appointment and arrived 20 minutes early. Installation took him a little under 3 hours. Nice guy and professional.
With the switch, I'll still have unlimited data and my internet bill will go down from $110 to $70 with an increase of speed of 15X on download and 890 Mbps increase in upload speed. Of course, finding sites outside of speed testing that can utilize that speed really aren't around but I'll be future proofed for awhile, at least. Really like how buffering on steaming videos in now virtually non existent and downloading large files such as games from Steam are much faster, averaging around 180 Mbps. Very happy so far!
