Twice in the last year and a half we've been been offered uVerse to replace our DSL. We are in a middle of a 200+ acre property on the outskirts of town. Both times when the line guy comes out he just laughs, knowing the area, checks the line and says yeah... 12k feet.. Max for uverse is 5k, says sorry, plugs everything back up and goes on his merry way. The last time the guy said that he would have the number fixed so that it wouldn't prequal. I'm not sure if this ever happened, but ATT is back at it and wanting us to switch to uverse. We have two DSL lines and looking at adding a third, so we would love to switch. When we call and online it says we qualify, but before we go about putting the order in for a third time, has their been any improvement in the distance qualifications that might make it through this time?
Thanks in advance
