Sorry if this was posted somewhere recently(I haven't been keeping up with the U-verse forum as much lately). I was stumbling around and I saw this link:

Googling it brought up these links:

It seems to have quite a small number of LEDs.
Based on the DirecTV data sheet, it also has QAM256 to make it an AC1900 device.
The ports on the back are -
- 2x USB (USB 3)
- 4x Ethernet (Gigabit)
- 1x ONT
- 1x SFP
- 1x Broadband(DSL WAN)
- 1x Phone Lines 1 & 2
It does not appear to have coax/HPNA. Might not be meant for U-verse TV.
The DirecTV sheet mentions two different versions, one with a SFP port and one with a port for DSL. However, the picture shown shows both on one model.
"Flashing Yellow : LTE device is in place, but not operating properly when a primary connection is working."
Maybe it's meant to have some sort of LTE device attached to it(USB ports) as a backup WAN?
Has anyone heard of this device? It appears that while the AT&T pages went up this month, the DirecTV link is from June 2015. I usually don't see devices pop up on AT&T's site unless they are beginning to be deployed.
Power consumption also seems to be lower.
