So starting out I order at&t uverse through the online services and was sent a self install. After I got the self install I had issues with my service address. So I had a tech come out to do my install.
After two weeks of fixing issues with addresses and tech support the tech come out and spent three hours installing my service. When he finished up he told me he had to create another ticket and get another person to fix a problem at the box down the street. So after another hour that technician called him and told him that I would have to be disqualified for service because I was 12,000 feet from the central office.
I'm trying to figure out what I should do next or if it's worth trying to figure out other options. The technician at the box told me that there was fiber to the box and it had a VRAD available. I really don't know too much about this. If there is a VRAD at my service box should I be able to get VDSL instead of them trying to set up my internet through ipdsl?
Any thoughts or solutions would be appreciated
Thank you
