Bellsouth Dot Net SMTP Settings... Changed Or No??

I have been using Bellsouth Net SMTP settings for years. Every once in a while, they quit working and I panic and scour the net for information only to have the problem rectify itself in a day or so.. So, rather than panic and scour the net, I figured I would simply ask... Is mail.bellsouth.net PORT 25 still valid for SMTP settings?? I have used that as recently as 14 Oct 15 without any problems.. Thanx in advance for any assistance
