AT&T came through our neighborhood and ran conduit/cable earlier this year. We are an old, old, old IFITL (former Bell South) neighborhood in Atlanta (30024). The boxes buried in the ground (look like water meter things) are all near the posts that house equipment for the old network, which I think is a card that converts the fiber signal into the network cable that runs to the house. I assume the installation will just mean splicing the network cable into the new box? Anyway, the latest word our HOA heard was that there was some delay in the infrastructure to get us hooked in. Would anyone here have any idea how long this will take or what is going on in our area?
