I have DirecTV for video and I've been using WOW Cable for my internet connection. With DirecTV now being owned by AT&T I noticed that I can bundle U-Verse internet with my existing DirecTV service. How reliable is service in the area? I live in Canal Winchester, US 33 & Gender area. I pass an AT&T office probably less than a mile away from here.
My second question is what are your upload speeds like?
Currently I have 110/10 from WOW and my bill is roughly $75 a month. The AT&T offer I have is $50 with the modem included for 45 down but it doesn't specify what the upload is. Honestly 110 is overkill for me. While I do game and stream a lot I was fine on the 50 Mbps tier I was originally on (WOW recently upgraded 50 users to 110).
I don't want to make the switch and be locked into a 1 year service contract if service is shoddy; my WOW connection is pretty rock solid and I rely on it heavily.
