I currently have an NVG599 that is configured in passthrough mode to pass my public IP to my router running Tomato Shibby firmware. I love that firmware because it lets me view realtime bandwidth usage on a per IP basis. It also lets me view the public IP address of connections to devices within my network. ie. View the public address my Apple TV is connecting to for streaming netflix for example.
I know there are a few users who have not just Uverse internet but also Uverse TV to work with their 3rd party router. I know there are some special things that have to be setup so it will work with the IGMPv3 multicast that is used by Uverse IPTV.
Could people share how they got this working?
