Well in the light of all those fiber installs this might not be a hot topic but I figured I would still post my experience. After some initial order glitches the tech came out today and quickly called a line man because our wire to the house was not twisted. It was from 1965. New aerial line was run via poles to the house and through the roof. Quite an undertaking. They measured a loop length of 1214ft with their handheld tools. The tech showed me a document that says 75/8 tier is supported up to 1250ft but website doesn't offer it. I'll pursue that discussion with AT&T some other day. The online system measures a loop length of 1400ft but he said their on-site tool is more accurate so it should be a shorter loop. I am on a F card.
