Last night I was trying to get IPV6 working with U-verse to my Asus Rt-AC68P (just like AC68U) router. I found a thread that for the life of me can't find again. But, IPV6 is enabled on the HGV and works with computers directly attached to it. The Asus is configured with DMZ+ on the HGV.
But, if I set up the Asus with Tunnel 6rd, whether I use DHCP or hard code values (from that thread I can't find) the client computers get IPV6 addresses, but I can't ping even the google IPV6 DNS servers, I can't even ping them from the Asus itself.
If I set the Asus for "Native" and DHCP-PD, I can ping from the Asus router, but no clients get addresses. The log says something about no range available.
I've also read posts about disabling IPv6 on the HGV, and/or putting the Asus behind it as a cascaded router (which I never got to work), but nothing seems to work for me, and I'm a bit perplexed by all the different information. Any ideas?
