I am told that UVERSE is not available at my location in Southwest Ranches Florida. I have DSL Extreme and a land line with ATT. However, ATT UVERSE is available in homes a mile from me. I have a friend with UVERSE that told me a story about his experience with ATT UVERSE. He was told that UVERSE was not available at his home location in Davie Florida, as he is "farther away than permitted," and so he called a relative who works for ATT. This relative arranged for them to obtain UVERSE, and as it was explained to me, he was able to get UVERSE by ATT installing a 2nd line that when combined with his original line provided the necessary bandwidth. I assume this was achieved via Pair Bonding.
My experience calling ATT has left me feeling they must be paying their people $2 an hour, and getting what they pay for. If I were to call ATT to see if Pair Bonding could be used to provide UVERSE to my home, how would I get beyond the not so technical types in customer service and speak to someone knowledgeable.
