I had a tech over recently due to a problem with the service. Apparently they thought the line could handle 18/1, but it couldn't so it would cut out and have a lot of problems constantly. I was downgraded to 12/1. It's stable...ish for the most part. But what I asked and he told me next honestly made me a little upset. I asked him if they are adding any uversetv/VRADs soon, we've had uverse for a couple years now, and he said they're not adding any new services for the foreseeable future. Instead, focusing on businesses and upgrading them to some sort of fiber service. It wouldn't even be difficult, they laid a fiber line right on the main road, mostly for the colocation center/exchange down the road (which by the way is only about 1km away and they line is so bad it can't support more than 12mbps). It's honestly like they hate money, I live in a very compact area, small houses etc. Yet down the road at the new construction where the houses are big and far apart they have VRADs. I hate how they leave us in the dark like this. 12 is simply not enough for a family of 5.
don't even get me started on comcast. at least with att you can get support if you want it. comcast doesn't even answer you apparently.
no questions, just a bit of a rant. I know you guys get a lot of those.
