I just ordered service this week. I received this ADSL2/VDSL2 router today (pace NV5031)
I'm confused as to why I was sent this router instead of something simpler that only supports ADSL2. Like a perfectly good motorola ADSL2 router I used in a previous (non-VDSL ready) address about a year ago. AT&T says there's no U-verse TV available for my address. So I don't understand why they wouldn't let me use the old router instead (motorola 2210-02-1ATT ADSL2+/IPDSLAM)
It doesn't seem like anyone at at&t can give me a straight answer either. If anyone has any clues, I'm all ears. Are there any VRADS installed in this zipcode area at all? Or any plans to upgrade??
I'm in zip code 95817, exactly 7820 ft from the telco at 2216 Stockton Blvd
Sacramento, CA 95817 (at&t central office SCRMCA11 "gladstone")
Thanks
