Gigapower in Cary, NC

Gigapower was recently made available in my neighborhood in Cary, NC. Techs came out to perform the installation on Tuesday and we ran a speed test immediately afterwards (using both dslreport's speed test and speedtest.net). The best results we were able to obtain were 280 down and 10 up. We ran through the usual "have you tried turning it off and back on again?" routine and then some. We tried on different laptops, both with wired connection to the gateway. We tried both the NVG599 and NVG589 gateways with the same result. I heard that IPv6 can have issues with Gigapower so we tried disabling that which made no difference. My U-Verse account has been configured for Gigapower so it doesn't seem to be anything on that end, and the cabling was verified to be cat6 (ONT to the gateway test showed gigabit speeds). Unfortunately, I had to leave before the issue could be resolved and another tech is scheduled to come out tomorrow morning. The tech working with me at the time was skeptical that a new tech would be able to do anything more than what we already tried. Has anyone with a new Gigapower installation experienced issues similar to these? It feels like we've eliminated as many variables as possible around the installation itself, and phone support seems to been stumped as well. Thanks in advance if anyone has some insight!
