So I moved and ATT forced a NVG589 on me, but it seems it has the same problems as the NVG510 to where it drops the broadband connection and you have to reset the modem to reconnect.
The NVG510 did this and ATT sent me 3 replacement modems. They all did the same thing which was lock up and stop working.
I ended up buying a 2210-02-1ATT on ebay and all the problems magically went away and no dropped connection in 2 years.
Now they gave me a NVG589 and within 2 weeks I have to reboot 4 times.
So it seems the NVG589 is junk like the NVG510.
Are there any other options to get away from the NVG garbage?
I cant understand why ATT uses modems that would cause most customers to call up tech support a few times a week.
